| I have forgotten my password or cannot login into my main Admin CP, how can I reset the password? |

| Answer |
With phpMyAdmin or a similar database management tool open your Multi-Forums database and find the table labelled "multiforums_settings" and browse the rows. In this table will be a row labelled "password" or "Admin Password" and click Edit or the little pencil next to it, then using an MD5 password generator create a new password (MD5 hash) and copy this code into the "value" column and then save. You should now be able to login using your newly created password.
If your Multi-Forums database is too large for phpMyAdmin to display you can use the following link within phpMyAdmin to access the table:
http://www.your-domain.com/your-path-to-phpMyAdmin/sql.php?db=your_multi_forums_database_name&table=multiforums_settings&goto=tbl_structure.php
(Changing it to your domain, your path to phpMyAdmin and the name of your Multi-Forums database) |
